WhatsApp introduces new message disappearing feature
According to a report by MyBroadband, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that removes messages in chats after seven days. It may be a while, however, before users are able to access this feature as it was only released in the latest update of the app's beta version.

According to a different report by Memeburn, the disappearing messages
feature can be enabled via the following steps:
- Open the chat you want to enable the feature for
- Tap on your contact’s name
- Tap ‘Disappearing messages’
- If prompted, tap ‘Continue’
- Toggle the setting to ‘On’
To disable disappearing chats:
- Open the chat you want to disable the feature for
- Tap on your contact’s name
- Tap ‘Disappearing messages’
- If prompted, tap ‘Continue’
- Toggle the setting to ‘Off’
