Property mogul, Roux Shabangu says he was offered a "bribe" of R50m to "walk away" from a lease deal negotiated by the Department of Public Works; IOL reports that he refused to accept the deal.

Shabangu offered R50m to walk away

The allegation is contained in an explosive 60-page affidavit in which Shabangu sets out to absolve himself from any wrongdoing in the controversial lease for new premises in Pretoria for the South African Police Service.
