Rusterberg gets its money - some of it
The Rustenburg municipality has recovered R151 million it is owed according to council spokesman Butler Matlapeng who says that the money was paid after the council took action against those account holders who had defaulted on their payment arrangements.
Altogether the Rustenburg municipality is owed more than R1,3 billion but in an effort to assist account holders, the municipal credit control policy allows those in arrears to make arrangements to pay. Read more...
