GIBS marketing director, Howard Fox says that the new role will be to develop the next stage of GIBS' content production and publishing strategy. "This is part of our plan to ensure that the GIBS brand continues to grow and to further raise the school's visibility across the many media opportunities that traditional and new media provide," says Fox.
Gibbons will continue to anchor The Mid Day report, a hard-hitting news, current affairs and business show simulcast on Johannesburg's Talk Radio 702 and Cape Town's 567 Cape Talk. On the print side of his desk, Gibbons retains his role as editor of Directorship, the prestigious quarterly magazine of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa. He also writes for the Journal of Marketing. With an MA from Cambridge, Gibbons also has an MBA from Henley, UK.
