Bursarylottery.co.za - suitably launched on Mandela Day by local entrepreneur and chairman of the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, Rob Stokes - aims to connect South African students with financial assistance options to further their education.

The site will list available bursaries from a wide variety of institutions and any potential student may apply for them.

As the site's launch partner, and in celebration of Mandela Day, Red & Yellow will be offering 67 positions for their flagship Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing, with each place worth over R75,000.

"I want to personally challenge all of South Africa's education institutions to get on board and offer bursaries to deserving applicants. It isn't easy to make it work financially, but neither is life when you don't have an education. If Red & Yellow can figure it out then so can any other higher education institution. Even if they start at 1% it will make a difference in our country," said Stokes.

The Bursary Lottery is free for participation from any potential student of any age. The site is very simple with just a one-page application form for this great education opportunity, and many more will be added soon. Those selected will have their chosen course or programme gifted to them, ensuring their dreams of education come true.

The site was built as a pro bono project by local digital talent specialists, Trusted Talent, and the intention is to add a growing list of education partners who want to make a real contribution to South Africa's education problem.
