Varsity College hosts 6th Inspired Teachers Conference

Quality Life Company launched the Inspired Teachers Conference in March 2012 in a drive to share leadership lessons and inspiration with the teaching community. Varsity College will be hosting the sixth conference at its Sandton campus on 18 August 2015 from 8am to 4.30pm.

It provides a unique forum for educators and thought leaders from a variety of disciplines that are open to dynamic conversation. The conference also serves as a platform to recognise and learn from the teachers renowned for their ability to light up a classroom.

Themes include why teaching and leadership is interlinked, the best new ideas for engaging students, critical thinking - how to harness and teach the ability to think clearly and rationally, as well as the value of mindfulness.

Kevin Johnson, National Stakeholder Manager at Varsity College, says, "The group is proud of its involvement with the Inspired Teachers Conference, as it aligned to what we look to achieve in education. We aim to inspire students to achieve their true potential and make a significant contribution in the world of education the best way we can. This conference provides the group the unique opportunity to share knowledge with likeminded educators and to unveil the new IIE B.Ed in Foundation Phase Teaching degree, which physically illustrates our vision and commitment to education."
