Control Instruments announces Textar's Brakebook.com
JSE-listed Control Instruments has announced the availability of Textar's Brakebook, www.brakebook.com, a web-based catalogue system for the Textar brake pad brand. The online platform, developed exclusively for Textar, combines up-to-date catalogue data with user-friendly search functions.
"Brakebook.com is specifically targeted at customer requirements for identifying brake parts. Alongside the completely reworked user interface, searches can be done using the vehicle's OE reference number or a vehicle-specific or bi-dimensional expert search meaning a search, using multiple options," says Richard Berner, divisional head - Brake, Control Instruments-Automotive.
Brakebook.com also allows customers to configure printer-friendly catalogues to their own individual requirements and preferred formats. The data is updated weekly in the same template that Textar uses for its own printed catalogues. Customers are able to compile their own catalogues for the entire product range, selected products, items from for specific manufacturers or certain vehicle models.
