Penultimate round of the Pozidrive VW Challenge
The penultimate round of the Pozidrive VW Challenge took place at the Zwartkops Raceway, Pretoria this past Saturday. Charisse van der Merwe, racing the Hot 102.7FM-sponsored VW POLO finished the races in third position overall in Class B. This is an outstanding achievement in that there were 21 cars racing in the class. Charisse is currently the leading woman in the Pozidrive VW Challenge.
“The race was incredible,” said an excited Charisse. “The car was amazing; the team did an awesome job in preparing the car, and I’m truly grateful to Hot 102.7FM for believing in me and supporting me this year. It’s great to have the support of Hot 102.7 and to be made to feel part of the family.”
