Fix and Spongebob hand out presents

MTV VJ Fikile “Fix” Moeti and square Nickelodeon pal SpongeBob SquarePants recently paid a surprise visit to sick children and staff at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Gauteng. The TV and radio presenter and the bright yellow undersea hero presented gifts to the hospital patients.

All the gifts distributed by Fix and SpongeBob were kindly donated by guests and staff of MTV who attended the MTV base “5 on It” celebration at Urban Tree in Sandton on 5 March. Instead of providing the traditional goodie bag for guests at the bash, MTV requested that guests bring along a gift for a child instead. MTV was overwhelmed at the number of gifts that clients and staff donated. Fix and SpongeBob handed out soft toys, books, dolls and educational toys to the children in the orthopaedic and oncology units at the hospital.
