Mr Cat & the Jackal off to the UK

It has not been an easy road to the UK, though. This tour was attempted six months ago, only for the band not to get their visas, due to extremely strict new UK visa laws and red tape. Then the drummer broke his hand and the all their instruments were stolen.

This has not stopped them from performing (even though it has been restricted gigs) through improvising on borrowed and hacked-together back-up guitars and noise-makers. Throughout the year they have also been consistently working on their third studio album, continued touring and working on several side projects, including the new Afrikaans Zombie movie.
