Search for leading lady to star in Elan Lea video
A leading lady is needed to star with singer, songwriter and musician Elan Lea in his new video which will be filmed in South Africa in September. He is also launching a competition in which the winner can take away R50 000.
Lea has just completed his second album "Conversations Over Time", due for worldwide release mid-2012.
To stand the chance of being selected as the leading lady, interested females need to submit their picture via the following avenues:
Facebook: You must be a fan of Lea's page, submit your picture and then get your friends to like it. The more likes, the better your chances of being in the semi-final search
Twitter: You must follow Lea on Twitter, post the picture by tagging him in the post and use the following hashtag: #ElanMusicVideoSearch
The Search will run from 1 May 2012 until August
"Pronounce My Name Game" competition
Lea, in association with ZunguZ, is announcing the launch of the "Pronounce My Name Game" competition. The aim of this competition is to help as many people as possible to get the pronunciation of Elan Lea's name correct; spread the word and stand a chance to win R50 000 prize money in cash.
The competition rules are simple. All that is required is for fans, their friends, school mates, colleagues, teammates, parents, or anyone keen to get involved, to upload their fun, original and creative short video onto Lea's Facebook fan page or via YouTube. Of course, the absolute correct pronunciation of the name is key to winning. The contest begins on 1 July and ends 31 July, 2012, and the judging panel will include music man Randall Abrahams, film director Shaun Pearce and Elan Lea himself.
