New acts announced for Rocking The Daisies
Friday night at the festival will also feature the newly created Daisies All Stars, a one-time collaborative performance including an array of SA's top artists from Francios van Coke to Tasha Baxter, backed by a 15-piece Motown band.
International DJ Kevin Saunderson (The Elevator) from Detroit, US, will rock on the Red Bull Studio Live stage. Festival-goers can also look forward to South African Djs: Anthea Sholtz, C9ine, Haezer, Kid Fonque, Killer Robot, P H Fat, and Sibot.
The Nu World Beat Ring will present Boom Pam (Israel), Nomadic Orchestra vs Mr Cat & the Jackal and Napalma amongst others.

Flight offer
For the first time, Johannesburg-based fans will be able to make their way down to the festival on the Daisy Plane from Velvet Sky Airlines for R999. This includes return flights and entrance into the event - all inclusive. There will be a number of flights to choose from, but only 200 tickets are available.

Walking The Daisies
This year Walking the Daisies - in which 100 festival goers will walk along the beach to the festival through the West Coast landscape - has teamed up with bobsforgood, the social development initiative striving to provide every needy South African child with a pair of quality, leather, locally made school shoes. All walkers will be asked to donate R150 to shoe one child in need.
Applications to join the walk will be launching on 9 September, so keep a look out on www.rockingthedaisies.com for all walking information.
Discounts for cyclists
Discounted entry will go to 150 keen cyclists, who will enjoy a beautiful outdoor ride with the added benefit of finishing at Rocking the Daisies just in time for the party to start. Cyclists can head to www.webtickets.co.za and purchase their discounted ticket to the Festival.
