Gorgilicious cabaret oozes sensuality
The cabaret Gorgilicious - a physical celebration of music through dance - will be performed at the GrandWest Roxy Revue Bar from 9 September to 29 October, 2011, Wednesday to Saturday. It will feature hits from Adele, Jennifer Lopez, Pink, Rihanna, Kary Perry, Grace Jones, Björk, Madonna among others.
The show has been directed, choreographed and produced by Ashleigh Moore, who has designed as a visual feast with a Cirque feel. Backing up the dancers in their spectacular costumes are vocals from Raquel Munn, Lindiwe Rose and Samantha Austen, and skills from South Africa's number one Parkour (free running) artist, Russ McCarrol. Dancers include Justin Mancer, Terry Sauls, Rory Marais, Nicoll Pitt and Natalie Walsh, plus the three vocalists. Dance styles used during the show include rumba, samba, tango and hip hop.
The show starts at 8.30pm. Tickets are available from Computicket at R67 each.
