Magical show at GrandWest Roxy Revue Bar
Magician and mentalist Larry Soffer predicts news headlines a week in advance and uses the power of his thoughts to bend cutlery and get stationary clocks to move. With seven other performers, he will perform his Mind over Matter show from 5 to 27 August, 2011, Wednesday to Saturday.
From a young five-year-old boy in Sea Point with dreams of being a musician, Soffer has come a long way. He now performs to global audiences and recently received magic's top accolade when he was awarded membership of the Magic Castle in Hollywood and became the youngest person to perform there. The famous century-old club is a showcase for magic and members include world-famous magicians such as David Blaine.
Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 8.30pm. Tickets are available at Computicket at R67.
