As a chamber musician and song accompanist, he has established partnerships with Richard O'Neill and Sumi Jo, with whom he recorded three albums for Deutsche Grammophon. Park's career has already taken him to many of the leading festivals and concerts halls in Europe. He has performed at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and with the Radio Symphony Orchestras in Frankfurt and Hamburg and the Spanish National Orchestra. In 2010, Park had his first solo recording for Deutsche Grammophon, a debut CD "Russian Transcription" with works from Stravinsky, Rachmaninov and Prokofiev. 2012 marked his second solo disc, "Confession", with works of Franz Liszt, on the same label.
The concert begins at 8pm. Tickets are available from Computicket with concessions available from the Baxter on the night for pensioners and students. For more details, go to www.ctconcerts.co.za or email az.oc.strecnoctc@ofni.
