AMCSA 2012 for beginners to experts

The seventh Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa will take place from 31 May to 2 June 2012 at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria. The event is aimed at a variety of specialty doctors and all companies involved in the fields of aesthetic and anti-aging medicine.

These specific fields of medicine have grown to become highly specialised, precise and developed with new techniques, innovations and researched launched monthly. AMCSA 2012 is the ideal platform to get started in this field, as well as offering expert updates for the advanced doctors. The congress fulfills the needs of both scientific knowledge as well as exposure to the industrial and pharmaceutical inventions.

Pre-congress workshops

The congress includes a two-day program running in three auditoriums and a large exhibition area hosting leading companies with relevant pharmaceutical and innovative technologies in the fields of aesthetic and anti-aging medicine. For further training, there are also pre-congress workshops for both beginners and advanced physicians on specific topics. The pre-congress workshops takes place on 31 May 2012.

The scientific program will cover a range of topics including: botulinum toxin techniques, dermal fillers, chemical peels, lasers and light-based therapies, mesotherapy, skin rejuvenation, skin imperfections therapies, and protocols, hair rejuvenation as well as obesity, slimming, cellulite, varicose vein treatments, anti-aging medicine and sexual aging sessions. The program is covered by experts from around the world and includes presentations as well as demonstrations.

The 2012 program is planned to cater for anyone's needs whether beginner or expert and with various fields of specialties taken into consideration.
