    Scientists discover new crab species

    According to FIS.com, a team of scientists from the Oceanographic Centre of Cadiz of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO) have discovered a new species of lithodid crab.

    The finding and capture took place in Namibian waters at 1,400 metres deep during an oceanographic survey aboard the vessel Vizconde de Eza, belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Magrama). The crab is said to have a great deal of similarities with its Paralomis pectinata, which inhabits the waters in Venezuela.
