Higher electricity prices making SA expensive

Business Day repors that from July, Cape Town's residents will pay 11% more for electricity, regardless of whether they qualify for the lifeline tariff or not. In a separate article, Business Day reports that South Africa is now ranked eleventh in terms of price on the list of 16 major electricity markets surveyed by NUS Consulting, a group that assesses international energy prices.
