Boss of the Year finalists announced

The six finalists are:

• Andrew Skudder, enterprise capability director at Murray & Roberts;
  
• Chantyl Mulder, senior executive: professional development, transformation and growth at the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants;
  
• Chris Mukoki, head of secured lending and credit granting at Standard Bank;
  
• Gerald Dumas, managing director of Joburg Water;
  
• Greg Solomon, managing director of McDonald's South Africa and Octavia
  
• Matshidiso Matloa, chief executive of Mukundi Mining Resources.

The Boss of the Year Award is organised by Dictum Publishers with Ornella Trinco as the convenor. The MTN SA Foundation is the patron and main sponsor of the award.

The overall winner will be announced on 14 October 2011 - Boss's Day - at a lunch at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton.

The winner of the Boss of the Year receives a bundle of prizes from the sponsors who include Stabilo, Air Mauritius, Arthur Kaplan Jewellers, The Blue Train, Die Kunshuis Clanwilliam, Europcar, Jaguar SA, Sheaffer Pens and World Leisure Holidays while those nominated also receive a range of gifts from these sponsors as well.
