This year's conference is themed Wired for Waste: Value *Grow* Sustain. 'Wired' implies that WasteCon2014 is well positioned to provide solutions and inspiration for change and transformation, with a multitude of specialists, nationally and internationally, sharing insights and lessons learnt. The goal of the conference is to re-energize change and offer solutions for debate in the waste industry.

Key attraction

One of the key attractions of the conference and exhibition is the wide range of exhibitors that will showcase their diverse waste management products and services, all playing an imperative part within the waste management industry. The exhibition will open on Monday evening, 6 October 2014, at Cavalli Estate near Somerset West.

"We urge all waste conscious individuals and corporates to attend the conference," says Dr Suzan Oelofse, president of the IWMSA. "The calibre of exhibitors and speakers that have committed for WasteCon2014 is exceptionally high, which will play a vital part in educating attendees of the event. These exhibitors and speakers are key influencers within the waste management industry and we are very excited to see what great solutions they have for our industry as a whole."

Waste conscious organisations and individuals can still take advantage of the 'early bird' rates which close on 31 May.
