The new EBS will also enable printers, businesses and designers to feature the acclaimed WWF Climate Savers logo on their work for the first time.
The Eco-Calculator, which sits on both the Arjowiggins Graphic and Antalis websites, provides users of recycled paper with an EBS that shows the amount of landfill, CO2 and greenhouse gases, water, electricity and wood that have been saved by opting to use Arjowiggins Graphic recycled paper over paper produced from virgin fibres.
Until now customers had to request to receive EBS artwork, but the new online Eco-Calculator will instantly produce a hi-resolution PDF that can be added directly to any print job. The platform also offers extensive options on how savings are displayed, as customers can now change the layout, colour and icons on their statement.
TheEco-Calculator has been used to produce EBS for leading environmental magazines, business mailers and even books to demonstrate their environmental credentials. Anna Simpson, editor of Green Futures magazine, praised the Eco-Calculator: "The EBS produced from the Eco-Calculator is a great way to bring the decision to use recycled papers to life and engages people with the benefits of printing on recycled paper."
The Operational Marketing Manager of Arjowiggins Graphic UK, Angela De Vorchik, explains why this update to the Eco-Calculator can support both customers and the recycled paper industry: "We hope this new development to enable customers to produce their own unique EBS will encourage more people to showcase their environmental savings."

A mailer to over 33,000 printers, businesses and designers across Europe, an e-blast with a how-to-video, and a competition will support the launch of the new Eco-Calculator throughout April and May. The competition will run from 15 April to 15 May and will enter anyone using the Eco-Calculator into a free prize draw to win one of 100 gift packs of finest organic wine from the famous Chapoutier House.
