With all odds stacked against them, it is, therefore, heart-warming to see more and more women making it to the top.
Julia Shungube of Mpumalanga was crowned the 2015 Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) Female Entrepreneur Award (FEA) at a ceremony held in Durban. Agri SA was part of the adjudication process and is confident that Shungube has the potential to grow and inspire other women to aim for the sky in the agricultural industry, which is mainly male dominated.
