"The time has come for role-players in agriculture to put their money where their mouths are, and show that true collaboration is indeed possible," says Johan Ehlers, CEO of Agri-Expo. "By co-presenting these two prominent events we bring producers and exhibitors a valuable and extended networking opportunity, while expanding the horizon for agricultural expos in South Africa."
"Farmers have to diversify and dairy producers will certainly benefit from the Agriworks Expo programme," says Ehlers. The Cape Dairy Experience celebrates the complete value chain of dairy in a province that leads in terms of milk production. In turn, Agriworks Expo brings state-of-the-art farming technology and implements to the doorstep of the producer and will also dedicate a large section to viticulture, gardening and landscaping.
The Agriworks Expo that was previously presented in Stellenbosch will celebrate its 5th birthday this year. "The move to Sandringham gives producers from Durbanville, Malmesbury, Paarl and as far as Worcester and Robertson, easy access to their favourite agricultural show," says Chris de Klerk, owner of CADEK Media and the Agriworks Expo. "The two events perfectly complement each other and the joint presentation at one venue should be seen as a breakthrough for all agricultural events."
