The march, will take place today between 10am and 2pm on Friday (13 June) but no reasons for the protest have been given although the union says it will hand over a memorandum to the Sacaa management.
"Management will learn what these reasons are when the memorandum is handed over," the union said in a statement, adding that it had made its own contingency plans to ensure that clients are not adversely affected.
Sacaa will try to ensure that all services remain unaffected. A skeleton staff will be put in place to manage all areas of the business.
"We appeal to clients to exercise patience as we try to provide the best possible service under the circumstances. This industrial action will have an impact on the ability of the organisation to operate at its normal rate. We recommend that clients keep their visits to our premises to a minimum on the day," Sacaa spokesperson Kabelo Ledwaba said.
Sacaa said it believes that any concerns that the union may have, could have been resolved through the multiple remedies available at the disposal of both parties.
"Management is keen to have a vibrant labour representation and is committed to fostering sound relations with all parties in the workplace," said Sacaa.
The two parties are due to meet formally next week. Sacaa is an agency within the Department of Transport.
