Ecohealth develops natural antiseptic
MRSA is a flesh eating bacteria that is a problem for patients in hospitals worldwide resulting in death or loss of limbs or scarring. Approximately ten percent of the world's population are carriers of the deadly bacteria.
Ecohealth's antiseptic / antibacterial handwash is said to eliminate 100% Staphylococcus Aureus Escherichia Coli Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus Sta 61 (MRSA).
The product, according to its manufacturer, contains no harsh chemicals.
Ecohealth was researched and developed by Lucille Pegg, a Cape Town-based trichologist and cosmetics expert. After 30 years of research, Pegg is recognised for her formulas such as Hair Fantastique, Skin Fantastique and K-9 Care.
Pegg has also developed the Ecohealth No Mozzies anti-mosquito cream and spray which contains natural plant extracts and oils and no DEET or toxins.
