Netcare immunisation clinic at Your Baby show

Prescribed vaccines as supplied by the Department of Health (DoH),will be administered free of charge to young babies. The Netcare Stork's Nest baby immunization clinic will also be supplying the non-DoH supplied vaccines (at the normal cost) as well as offering advice and counselling on the subject of immunization.

The Netcare Stork's Nest immunization clinic will be manned by Netcare's professional nurses from Netcare's Blaauwberg, Chris Barnard Memorial, Kuilsriver and N1 City Hospitals who will ensure that the vaccines are administered with a gentle and caring hand as well as offering support for nervous mums and dads. South Africa's foremost emergency rescue service Netcare 911 will also be in attendance at the show.

“It is important for parents wanting to avail themselves of the Stork's Nest inoculation service to bring their “Road to Health Card” along so that it can be handed in at the immunisation clinic. No immunizations will be done if the clinic card is not presented,” says Nellie Koen, National Coordinator of Netcare's Stork's Nest.

As well as offering the Netcare Stork's Nest Immunization Clinic at Your Baby Show in Cape Town, the exhibition boasts over 100 exhibitors (both locally and nationally based), features live performances by Barney, the world's best loved dinosaur (sponsored by Baby City) with Noddy and Big Ears providing the support act, Pampers mini-parenting workshops which feature topics from the importance of learning CPR, finding your parenting north star and natural remedies for mum and baby to Nikki Bush's awesome Parenting on the Run and Sister Lillian's sleep workshop, Toddler Monsterism Discipline workshop and routine setting workshop.
