Dr Ashwin Hurribunce appointed to PinkDrive board
Dr Hurribunce has been operating at the level of highest decision-making in public services for the most part of his twenty two years of service. His duties launched him onto the global stage where he was a member of many top-level delegations that crafted numerous bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements, including the creation of conditions for mutual country level business interests. He continues to operate within the privileges of being a commissioned general officer both nationally and internationally. He currently holds the position as executive director at the IQ Business Group.
"We take great pride in having Dr Hurribunce serve on the board, his credentials and knowledge will serve as a great asset to the organization. We look forward to his input and active involvement in the PinkDrive and all CMF initiatives and his ability to mentor and assist us in creating sustainability for the project," says Noelene Kotschan.
Well qualified
Dr Hurribunce holds several tertiary qualifications, which include an Executive Course in Communication and Public Relations from PRISA, a Course in Defence Leadership and Management from the US Naval Post-graduate School, Monterrey, California, and two masters-level qualifications in Medicine and an MBA from UCT's Graduate School of Business.
He was also named as one of the Outstanding People of the 20th Century, in honour of his outstanding contribution to the Health and Military Sectors by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England.
"My life so far has not known a more profound and silent reward like what I have experienced and continue to do so, with the appreciation, gratitude and upliftment that my smidgen service to people has accrued. Like the others that join me, I feel addicted to the general positiveness it generates in our world that is experiencing increasing levels of destituteness, despondency and dearth. I would like to believe that the difference I can make to those in need, can be multiplied each time I can convince another to join me doing the same. I found a kindred spirit in CMF and hence dedicate myself to help it achieve for a greater good," said Dr Hurribunce on his appointment.
