You will play a crucial role in building and enhancing their cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities:

• Present data on dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
• Comply with data governance requirements, including documenting data definitions and business glossaries
• Deliver a client project within the financial sector
• Build data systems and pipelines
• Evaluate business needs and objectives
• Interpret trends and patterns
• Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Three or more years of experience
• Proficient in data pipelines, ETLs, data warehouses, and more
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• SQL
• AWS/Azure
• Power BI
• Ab Initio

Position details:

The reference number for this position is NG59683, which is a contract, hybrid position based in Johannesburg, offering between R500,000 and R800,000 per hour, negotiable based on experience and ability.
