My career began in advertising and publishing studios, where I progressed from junior designer to studio manager, head of DTP and senior art director. I have designed and art directed for brands such as Samsung, MTN, BIC and Tiger Brands, produced digital and TV adaptations and motion graphics, and managed the design of monthly and quarterly magazines and contract publications from concept to press. At Ogilvy JHB I produced Vodacom advertising and in-store campaigns, and at Caxton I laid out and prepared the weekly edition of Farmer's Weekly for print and online.
Most recently, at Collectors Boyz Toyz, I designed and managed the website and online shop, ran the company's Facebook and Instagram, created retail advertising, and handled orders and customer service. That role sharpened my understanding of how good design and consistent social content turn into sales.

I am fluent in the Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac, comfortable with WordPress and email marketing, and experienced in working with clients, printers and suppliers to get work approved and out on time. I also hold a Diploma in Visual Communications and an International Diploma in Marketing Communications from the AAA School of Advertising.
