Master / Diagnostic Technician

Our client, a franchised automotive dealership, has a position available for a master technician / diagnostic technician in Durban, Kwazulu Natal.

The position is only available for candidates with a motor trade test with working knowledge on diagnostics.

Requirements:     

• Motor mechanic trade test certificate
• Three + years of experience (petrol)
• Valid driver's licence 
• Clear criminal record                                                 
• Stable work track record
• Ability to work well under pressure and be target drive
• Gearbox and differential technical experience would be beneficial

Duties and responsibilities: 

• General service, repair and maintenance of vehicles
• Diagnostic / electrical work to carried out on all vehicles 
• Repairs and testing of vehicles booked into workshop
• Warranty repairs as per manufacturers processes
• Managing and completing job cards
• Achieving workshop targets
• Problem solving
• Test drive vehicles
