The genuine article

From art to coins to clothing, if you're looking for Mandela memorabilia, there's certainly no shortage. However, when purchasing items such as collectors' coins or artwork, be aware that there is any number of counterfeits out there. Ensure you are buying from a reputable dealer to guarantee that you're getting a genuine article.

In other news this week, most South Africans are hoping for a gadget from Santa this year, which inevitably means that we're still going shopping, despite the economy.

While mobile wallets are slowly catching on in SA, new research has shown that although global m-commerce purchases have fallen in volume, they've gained in value.

Lastly, if you haven't added your tribute to the late, great Madiba, you can do so here.

Stay safe!
