Agbiz has announced the appointment of Wessel Lemmer as the new general manager of Agbiz Grain, effective July 2020. Lemmer will replace Mariana Purnell who has led Agbiz Grain since its inception in 2014.
Beemer has extensive experience in the agricultural sector spanning over 30 years. He was previously employed as a senior agricultural economist at Grain SA for eight years where he gained experience in the grain industry and was recently employed at Absa bank in the roles of senior agricultural economist and head: sector economics for Absa Retail and Business Bank.
