DeMorgenzon's Carl van der Merwe joins VinPro board

VinPro has elected DeMorgenzon cellarmaster and chief executive Carl van der Merwe as its new board member. He will represent the Stellenbosch region following the retirement of founding member and former vice-chairman Johann Krige, co-owner of Kanonkop.

Van der Merwe holds a degree in business management and oenology from Stellenbosch University and has extensive international experience working in France, the US, and China.

Mutle Mogase, Vinpro specialist director, will take Krige's place on the executive committee.
