Fruitways crowned Tru-Cape Packhouse Challenge champions
Tru-Cape recently held its Packhouse Challenge at the De Rust Futura Primary School in Grabouw. Fruitways won this year's challenge as its members ran and walked a combined 7,269km.
A total of seven packhouses competed for the Tru-Cape Trophy and 3,084 athletes ran/walked a combined 19,775km. Champion trail runner Akhona Mdaka completed the 21.1km route first followed by Thomas Struis and P Moletsane.
