Project 90 by 2030 recently donated and installed five solar power charging units at the Abaphumeleli Home of Safety in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. The solar power charging units were built by the high school learners who are involved in Project 90 by 2030's ‘Playing With Solar' project; the youngsters are taught the importance of being environmentally conscious and looking after the planet in addition to being trained on how to build the solar units....
Bos Sport held a special event to hand over the R10,000 cheques that the Go Bos Fund has donated to One Heart, Afrika Tikkun, Grassroot Soccer, Inspired 2 Become, and Share The Stroke. The handover event was held at The Station in Green Point and the respective NGOs and the young people enrolled in their programmes participated in a series of fun challenges, which was followed by a braai.
