    The One Show launches ONEderful campaign

    NEW YORK, US: This year's One Show recognises what it calls that ONEderful place where deadlines give way to creative euphoria and that one, elusive idea suddenly hits you with what is designed to be a whimsical new marketing campaign, created by Washington, DC-based agency Design Army.

    The 2012 One Show call for entries poster is the centrepiece of the campaign and features information and categories for all four of The One Club's annual awards shows: the One Show, One Show Design, One Show Interactive and One Show Entertainment. The deadline to enter all shows is 31 January 2012.

    "Last year, the One Show received 20 000 submissions from 61 countries for the three competitions and we look forward to expanding our worldwide creative community even further in 2012," says Kevin Swanepoel, president of The One Club.

    Winners will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils at three award shows the week of 7 May 2012 in New York City. The One Show, One Show Interactive and One Design awards shows are all presented as a part of Creative Week NYC, a celebration of creativity in advertising design and new media, which runs between 7-13 May 2012.

    One Show Entertainment, celebrating the best branded entertainment of the year, will take place in Los Angeles in June of 2012.

    New category

    A new One Show category this year is "Brand Transformation," sponsored by Facebook. This category recognises work done by an agency that has the potential to change its client's business. This could include a product or service (software, hardware or content) that changes the way consumers engage with the brand.

    Elite international juries of art directors, copywriters and creative directors judge entries for all One Show competitions. Full jury lists can be found at www.enteroneshow.org

    All Pencil and Merit winners are published in our three annuals, the One Show, One Show Design and One Show Interactive Annuals, and they also become part of an international travelling exhibition, making stops in China, Japan, South Africa, and Brazil. In addition, the winning work is published online in our One Show Archives, one of the most comprehensive databases of creative advertising on the Web.
