#YouthMonth: We need to empower the youth

June is Youth Month in South Africa and this year, Pride Factor Academy kickstarted the conversation with Bizcommunity, by launching the 'Have Your Say' campaign.

Mbali Cherry, CEO at Trending Topix Agency and an influencer from Gauteng, says that we need to empower the youth instead of putting people in boxes. She also asks leading service providers to lower data costs so that youth can access information that can assist in their advancement. She believes that this will spark major change amongst the youth in South Africa.
