Meters Systems launches new cordless hammer drill
Meters Systems unveiled the new DeWalt cordless hammer drill at the recent Electra Mining exhibition at Nasrec, Johannesburg.
"As with all the premium brands that we associate with and are agents for, it was unquestionable that the DeWalt premium brand would be the obvious fit to its range," said Warren Erasmus, MD of Meter Systems.
DeWalt has more than 90 years' experience in design and manufacturing of world-class solutions for the professional construction industry.
This cordless hammer drills motor provides 650 unit watts out of maximum power and delivers up to 57% more run time than brushed models; therefore the battery run time is extended, which means more work done.
"Lightweight and compact, the drill is ideal for usage in tight spaces and has an LED light to illuminate dark work areas," said Erasmus. It is perfect for completing demanding, high-torque job-site applications while delivering increased run time and power versus standard brushed motors in a durable, compact-sized tool with fast application speeds.
