Marginal drop in confidence among business leaders
According to the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (SACCI) Business Confidence Index and Business Live reports, business confidence has dropped marginally and the index has fallen from 97,5 in October to 97,4 in November.
The Business Confidence Index reports that the downward momentum of business confidence might have abated although the outlook for the economic environment remained tenuous, and the sluggish economic growth and change in the outlook for South Africa's credit rating by credit-rating agencies have affected business confidence.
