Altech wants more protection from imports
According to Business Report, technology company Altech has called on the government to consider introducing measures that will provide even more protection to local manufacturers and provide what it calls "an enabling environment" for entrepreneurship.

Altech has created a new multi-million rand manufacturing facility for the set-top boxes that many television viewers will have to buy in order to view the digital signals once the country has converted away from analogue transmission.
