Pinnacle Technology appoints Henry Ferreira
Pinnacle Technology Holdings CEO, Arnold Fourie, has announced that Henry Ferreira has been appointed as the Head of Distribution for Pinnacle Technology Holdings, effective immediately.

Henry Ferreira, who has filled the role of CEO, AxizWorkgroup, for the past 18 months, will now take on the added responsibility of managing distribution for the Pinnacle Group which includes both of its major ICT subsidiaries, Pinnacle Africa and AxizWorkgroup.
Fourie said that Pinnacle Holdings remains focused on the continuous improvement of their business and that the move will allow the group to synergize common functions of their broad-based technology distribution centres, ultimately increasing both profit and market share.
"While both companies operate very differently, in mostly varying markets and have very different cultures," Fourie said, "there are areas where collaboration between the teams will strengthen the Group even further".
Fourie added that it was important to note that both entities will remain separate, and will continue to function separately in their specialist areas, but that great advantage could be gained from Mr Ferreira overseeing both businesses.
Ferreira is an industry veteran, bringing over 30 years experience in the ICT industry to the table. His previous roles include: Country General Manager for Hewlett Packard, South Africa and Managing Director of Compaq Africa.
Prior to joining AxizWorkgroup as the CEO in February 2012, Ferreira held the position of Country General Manager for Lenovo, Africa, where he was responsible for managing and growing the Lenovo business whilst maintaining and growing relationships with key enterprise customers and business partners. He has also held Executive positions with Microsoft Southern Africa, Nokia Networks, Unisys Africa and Hewlett Packard UK & Ireland.
"I am delighted that Mr Ferreira decided to accept the challenge and I have no doubt that he will excel in his additional role," said Mr Fourie, adding that Ferreira's experience and expertise, coupled with the successful synergies within the Group's distribution companies, would be simply "unbeatable in the current ICT landscape in Southern Africa".
