Joe Public 3 days

Last year Reach For A Dream in KwaZulu-Natal, who piloted the campaign, managed to raise R175 000 to make dreams come true for children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. This year the whole of South Africa will be involved as the foundation takes slipper day national. Each of the seven Reach For A Dream offices across the country will be working with schools, businesses and individuals in their areas to get more people into slippers this year than ever before.
Reach for a Dream is encouraging everyone where they work to take part and become an ambassador for the campaign.
"There are so many children still dreaming and we want to make sure we reach as many as possible to make their dreams a reality," says Genevieve Cross, marketing coordinator for the Western Cape. Stickers will also be available from Miladys stores countrywide from 1 July.
