Former Land Bank CEO's case postponed
Times Live reports that former Land Bank chief executive Philemon Mohlahlane's embezzlement case has been postponed until January 30 next year because one of his co-accused, former Gauteng Housing MEC, Mpu Daniel Mofokeng has requested additional time to allow his new attorney to study the case.
Mohlahlane, Mofokeng, Matuba Maponya and Khutso Mosoma were arrested in March and released a day later on R40 000 bail each in connection with allegations that they had embezzled R19-million from the Land Bank. Charges against Mosoma were later withdrawn, reports Times Live.
