SA legal firm opens two more offices in Africa
The Bowman Gilfillan Africa Group was established in 2004 and in 2008 the group opened an office in Nairobi, through an association with Coulson Harney.
Presence in important economies
Lang says that the Kenyan office has been enormously successful, growing from the original two partners to seven partners and 17 other fee earners. "Our Nairobi office advises major corporations, financial institutions and the Government of Kenya on a wide range of matters. The addition of offices in the other two major economies in the East African Community will complement our Kenyan operations very well."
With Tanzania and Uganda, the group now has a presence in four important economies in Africa - Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and
Uganda - and has a very good relationship with leading Nigerian firm, Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie.
Lang says that the Bowman Gilfillan Africa Group provides top-end legal services to domestic and international clients across Africa. The group advises corporations, financial institutions, governments and state owned enterprises.
