Mobicover launches new app ahead of insurance conference
Local smartphone strategy specialist, MobiCover, in cooperation with Cims SA, has developed and sponsored a smartphone application for The Insurance Conference 2012 at Sun City from 10-13 June 2012. The application is downloadable on iPhone, Blackberry and Android, and it allows registered delegates to access the conference schedule with real time updates.
The Insurance Conference 2012 is an important event in the insurance industry's calendar and offers delegates the opportunity to debate challenges facing the industry, hosted by the joint partnership of the Financial Intermediaries Association, Insurance Institute of South Africa and the South African Insurance Association.
MobiCover CEO Clayton Hayward says key conference information is available on the application. "Real time updates for schedule changes allows delegates to plan their conference activities and ensure that they don't miss out on any of the exciting events and activities."
The Insurance Conference 2012 smartphone application registration allows delegates to send business card details direct from the smartphone to a fellow delegate. The application allows delegates to recommend the application to a friend and be entered into a competition to win an iPAD.
Hayward says the only requirement for recommending the application is that the friend's type of phone and email address must be provided. A direct link to the applicable application will be emailed to the selected email address where the application can be downloaded by clicking the link.
