Advanced Leadership Courses to be held in Zambia and SA
The ABN Training Institute and the Murdoch University's Murdoch University International Study Centre in Dubai's collaborative Advanced Leadership Course for Senior Executives is now open for registration in Zambia and South Africa. A condensed two-day version of the course is to be facilitated in Lusaka on 4 and 5 April, while the five-day course is on offer from 8 to 12 April 2013, 4 and 5 April 2013, while the full-blown, five-day course is on offer from 8-12 April, in Sandton.
There are only 15 seats allocated for each course and bookings are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. The goal of the ABN Training Institute and Murdoch University's Advanced Leadership Programme The goal of the Advanced Leadership Program is to provide delegates with a theory- and research-based integrative, hands-on, and practical view of leadership.
The offerings in Lusaka and Sandton follow several successful Advanced Leadership master classes recently conducted by Professor John Grainger, pro-vice-chancellor of Murdoch University in Dubai and president of Global Institute in the Middle East, who will again be the facilitator, pro-vice chancellor / academic dean of Murdoch University in Dubai. Prof Grainger will again be the facilitator, assisted by Johan Claasen, GM of the ABN Training Institute.
Testing the market
"We are now entering the follow-up phase of the master classes, during which delegates expressed a strong desire to enrol for the actual course," said Claasen. "We therefore expect a strong turnout."
According to Claasen, the reason why only a condensed two-day version is on offer in Lusaka, is that it provides a new opportunity for ABN Training in a relatively unknown market.
"Once we are assured that there is a strong enough interest in the five-day course in Zambia, a follow-up course will be offered there," explained Claasen. "The same strategy will apply when we introduce the same course to countries elsewhere in Africa."
