Veyance Technologies launches new air hose

Veyance Technologies Africa recently presented its new highly flexible and lightweight F5 Air Hose to the South African construction and manufacturing markets.

"The F5 Air Hose has been specifically designed for use in a variety of pneumatic applications, but is also ideal for any application that requires flexibility, strength and durability," says Paul van Zyl, marketing manager at Veyance Technologies.

A hybrid thermoplastic hose with polyester fibre reinforcement, the F5 Air Hose provides incredible strength. "Our tests show that the F5 Air Hose matches industry-leading levels of durability performance, while it provides a non-marking surface," explains Van Zyl.

The F5 Air Hose offers all all-weather performance and can withstand temperatures between -40°C to 70°C. It also features a 45% lighter construction - weighing only 0,25kg/m on average - and requires up to 50% less force to bend than comparable PVC and rubber air hoses. This makes the F5 Air Hose more flexible with a tighter bend radius. This 300psi hose is available in six sizes, ranging from 0.64 to 2.54cm.
