Porn TV unlikely in South Africa
Plans to launch three pornographic television channels in South Africa are likely to be scuppered by the Film and Publication Board according to a report in The Mercury.
The Mercury reports that TopTV intends to broadcast three Playboy channels and intends charging viewers a premium to view them, while Psat has said it will launch a 24-hour pornography channel in January that will be broadcast via the same satellite that is used by TopTV. However, viewers will have to rent a decoder from the company to access the show.
