Diabetic talk at Durbanville Library this Wednesday

"Our guest speaker will be Tanya Taljaard of Medical Nutritional Institute (MNI), who will be talking about diabetes and insulin resistance, as well as inflammation. The event is free to anyone who'd like to attend and refreshments will be served afterwards," says Arnold Bloch, Partner and Pharmacist at Durbell Pharmacies

Este Burger, the Diabetic Forum Coordinator and Group Stock Manager at Durbell, adds that the group will also do glucose intolerance testing at the event. "We host a diabetes talk every second month and do glucose testing on the premises as part of our service to the community. We keep records of results so that guests can track their progress."
