The G-Rebellion is Bonita G's unique take on challenging status quo, where the media, in particular, and society in general, foster a victim mentality that causes us to feel perpetually dissatisfied. The G-Spot's live radio sound stage provides an ideal set for Bonita G to perform authentic and entertaining promos that show how regrets from the past and fears of the future often limit our possibilities in the present.

Presenter for Carte Blanche

Drawing on personal experience as a presenter for Carte Blanche, Bonita G presents a rebelliously good take on more mindful, more satisfying and more joyful living. Using an array of musical instruments and her fantastic voice, she takes on a do-it-yourself attitude and gets the audience participating in the creation of the radio show's sound effects.

Bonita G sweeps us up in the possibility of our place in a more authentic and positive, more empowered and accountable South Africa.

Limited season

The G-Rebellion will feature Tuesday nights at Parker's Comedy and Jive for a limited season only before taking to the road on a national tour.

Doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 8pm. Dates are 1 June and Ladies Night on 8 June.
